Handmade wooden flat ended spurtle kitchen utensil wooden spatula carved from Cherry wood

This is a handmade wooden spurtle carved from some Cherry wood. It is 13 1/4 inches long and 2 1/4 inches wide. It has a gently curving blade flat at the tip. The blade portion of this one is 6 inches long. Use it to turn crepes, scramble eggs, stir a sauce.

Although these are designed for sauteing and stirring they are equally good for flipping pancakes. You will receive a spurtle like the one pictured which will vary slightly in grain pattern and color. Finished with beeswax and mineral oil.

Care is easy. Just wash with hot soapy water and towel dry. Don’t put it in the dishwasher and don’t leave it soaking for long periods in the sink. Apply some mineral oil every two weeks or some oil and beeswax mixed together. With proper care, your spoon will look and feel good for many years.
